Vehicle registration in Mallorca

Do you want to drive in Mallorca without any problems? There are more and more checks by the authorities, especially around schools. If you have a car with foreign plates, it is even more important to register it in Mallorca.

When is registration necessary? If you live in Mallorca and work here, set up your business here or your children go to school here. Also, if you have a holiday home on the island and spend more than 183 days on the island or drive the car on the island, you must register it. If your car has been on the island for 6 months, you must also register it.

We will assist you with this process, which currently takes 2-4 months (it may take longer during the summer months). The basic requirement is the NIE number. We take care of the official procedures, special TÜV inspections and the payment of any applicable fees. We take care of everything so you can relax.

How much does it cost to register a car in Mallorca? It depends on your vehicle. Send us your vehicle registration certificate and you will receive a personalised quote including fees, registration tax and road tax in Spain. Every car is different and has its own registration challenges. We work with experienced professionals to ensure your car is registered correctly. When you register your car with us, you’ll receive the emissions sticker free of charge.
