Emissions sticker
Since 1 July 2025, the rule is: without an emissions sticker in Mallorca it gets expensive! Anyone driving into one of the new low-emission zones (Zona de Bajas Emisiones, ZBE for short) needs the right sticker. So check your sticker before you drive, and avoid fines.
Which emissions sticker fits your vehicle?
The category depends on the drive type and emissions standard of your vehicle.

FAQ on the emissions sticker in Mallorca
Do I need the sticker outside Palma too?
Yes, because ZBE zones are gradually being extended. Currently, the obligation applies mainly in larger cities.
Does the emissions sticker also apply to foreign vehicles?
Yes. Since 1 July 2025, foreign emissions stickers are no longer recognised. With a German or other foreign car, you may therefore no longer drive into the zones if you don’t have a Spanish sticker.
What happens without a sticker?
Driving without a valid emissions sticker can lead to heavy fines.
Can I combine the emissions sticker with other services?
Yes, for example with our vehicle registration or our ITV service.
