Why you have to register your e-scooter
In Spain, e-scooters are officially classed as VMP (Vehículo de Movilidad Personal). Since the DGT introduced the corresponding regulations, your vehicle must therefore be correctly registered. Otherwise, you won’t get valid insurance and you are not riding legally.

You can conveniently pick up the sticker from us, or we send it to your home by post. The digital certificate is not included in this price. There are no hidden costs and no small print, everything is simply clear.

How long does the registration take?
It usually takes only a few days, depending on the authority. We speed up the process as much as possible.
Which documents do I need?
You need your ID, your NIE number, your digital certificate and a clearly legible photo of the model sticker. Ideally, you also present the Ficha técnica or Ficha reducida.
Do I need a digital certificate for the registration?
Yes. We only offer the registration with a digital certificate. This way we submit everything online for you, and you don’t have to appear in person. If you don’t have one yet, you can apply for the digital certificate with us.

What if I don’t have a digital certificate?
Then you first apply for the digital certificate, ideally directly with us for €79 incl. IVA. As soon as you have it, we register your e-scooter. We no longer offer a personal registration without a certificate.
Is my e-scooter legally registered afterwards?
Yes, you get a clean, official registration under Spanish law. Note: vehicles whose sticker does not show the prescribed content can be registered. However, after 27 January 2027 they may no longer be ridden on Spanish roads.
